These Terms of Use apply to your use of Tambas de Mel (tambasdemel.com, “the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free cross stitch patterns, guides and tutorials for general information and personal enjoyment. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every guide is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it.

Safety

Cross stitch is a low-risk craft, but it involves needles, pins and scissors, and some finishing projects mention an iron, glue or cord. Use tools with care and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Children should be supervised by an adult, particularly for any step involving needles, cutting tools, heat or small parts. Finished pieces with beads, buttons, cords or loops are not toys for young children. You are responsible for deciding whether a project is suitable for you or for a child in your care.

Using our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Tambas de Mel. You are welcome to:

  • read, print and stitch the patterns for personal, gift, classroom, library or other non-commercial purposes;
  • share a link to any page;
  • quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not republish whole articles, charts or illustrations, sell the charts or include them in kits, or present them as your own work without written permission.

The charts on the site are original designs made for Tambas de Mel. The stitches and techniques themselves are traditional and free for anyone to use; our rights relate to our own charts, written instructions and illustrations. If you believe a chart is too close to a design you own, please tell us through the Contact page and we will review it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or copying the site in bulk by automated means beyond what is needed for normal search engine indexing.

If the site links to a third-party website, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content, availability or privacy practices.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
